A Vivid Memory__DENNI 2009_Now What?

It's frightening to see it's been twelve days since the closing activity of the Discovery Educator Network Institute ... time seems to move at hyperspeed during the short summer months!

Yesterday, I spoke with Sara, a soft-spoken reporter with the Edmonds Beacon. What a blessing! Her questions prompted fresh memories of sessions: Google Earth with Hall Davidson, Claudia L'Amoreaux of Second Life, Adam and James from WikiSpaces, and all the sharing from passionate, creative educators. My responses to her pointed questions about my goals in attending, what I'd learned, how I planned to integrate my new learning into my classes, and my expectations for these resources bringing relevance to students and colleagues served to remind me that I have TONS of work to do! I definitely feel the responsibility for being selected to be a part of such a tremendous learning opportunity.

Due to the lack of internet bandwidth at the Headlands, most of my notes are handwritten. So first, I MUST get this captured into some digital format. Next, I must get materials and demonstrations into short, effective bites of information to share with various audiences.

AND ... not to forget to upload my events from this past spring to keep my DEN Star status current! Ah ... so much to do --- so little time!
